During their visit to Jodrell Bank, our Tigers class became scientists in their own right as they explored the wonders of our universe through the eyes of physics. They thoroughly enjoyed the exhibition room, learning about the Lovell Telescope, the big bang and the class favourite - black holes. The children wondered at the space photography art displays and then enjoyed outdoor practical experiments such as the whispering dishes. We finished our visit off with a planetarium talk which allowed the children to revisit their learning about the earth, moon, and sun interactively. Our Tigers class were an absolute joy throughout the day, representing the behaviour of our school to the highest standards. I'm sure we have some mini future scientists, astronomers and even space explorers in our midst!
