As a school we have access to what is called personal data which relates to both you, as parents, carers, & your children.  We manage this data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1988 and also the new General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).  This new legislation came in to effect on 25th May 2018 and there is a leaflet attached to this message which gives you an overview of what it is.

As a school we work closely with the NHS and Lancashire County Council to deliver the best health outcomes for our children.
