Responding to the wishes of Bishop Swarbrick, on 1st December 2022, St. Bernard's Catholic Primary became a founder member of the Mater Ecclesiae Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
We were one of seven schools who joined in Phase 1 of the conversion process, which will eventually be made up of the 23 Catholic primary and secondary schools in the wider Preston area.
We have begun to plan opportunities for our schools to work and grow together as "One Family in Christ" & we look forward to deepening our relationship with our wider family of schools.
