In October 2019 we introduced Rosie to our school.  She is a cavapoo, a "hypo-allergenic" breed.

If you do not wish your child to have any interaction with our dog at all in school, please let us know by completing the consent form on our APP or emailing the office.

For more information about why we are introducing a dog to school see our risk assessment & proposal.

Copies are also available from the school office.

Update January 2020:

Rosie has now been part of our school family for 3 months. In February she will be six months old. She has recently completed the puppy good citizen training.

She is already having a positive impact in school and is now beginning to increase her duties. This will include attending some lessons (where appropriate), working with nurture staff and children and attending training sessions with our young puppy trainers.

She now wears her red coat in school to show that children are allowed to stroke her under supervision of a staff member and young puppy trainer.

We have updated our risk assessment to cover her increased duties.

If any parents/carers have any questions / concerns or positive comments, please contact Mrs Barlow.
